Not a lot to say really but some stuff :)
Sep. 15th, 2010 08:31 pmIn no particular order -
We had a lovely day out on Saturday at Wooky Hole, though due to prices I don't think we'll be going back for a while. it was fun but expensive! However, we went round the caves, took photos of the various models and wandered round the attractions, spent pennies in the arcade and panned for gold. Oh, and ate yummy icecream :D
I've finished a couple of sewing projects, and am working hard on several more, though I want to make steampunk stuff. I'm being good and not giving into temptation right now though.
Blogging about sewing is fun (for me at least...) and thanks to a publicity post got lots of people visiting yesterday, which was cool! The link is http://luthaiseaskit.blogspot.com and there should be a new post there tomorrow, in case anyone is interested.
I had a lovely time at the IC meal, and Rose survived even if she wanted to run away and hide preferably on another continent for most of it.
It looks like we are going to be in Bath for Christmas, which I am really looking forward to. Christmas services at the Abbey, and hanging out with my cousins and sister should be cool. Need to work out where I can get a turkey from though... Might need to ask the butchers :D
Speaking of family, we're off to Essex for a few days, leaving tomorrow evening. Going to visit my gran, pick blackberries, help out at Harvest Festival and go to a charity dance. Then back to Bath leaving Essex at an amazingly early hour of the morning on Sunday so I can co-GM.
I'm co-GM-ing this weekend, then again next Thursday, I must be out of my mind...
Uncle John is eating again, but Mum says he's not managing much and is just very tired now. He was pleased to be able to tell her all about his latest operation though. Apparently he had seven doctors and one other chap... So if anyone in Essex was missing a doctor last week, sorry... They must all have been at his bedside!
I'm going to see Mitch Benn at Kommedia next week, which I am massively excited about :D
Work is mostly still awesome and the only issues are the usual childcare problems, which I don't like, but can't do much about...
I have nearly finished knitting my second pair of arm warmers, so it might be time to try more complicated stuff, like working out how to cable knit successfully!
