So...  A ball in Mithras' court in Londin huh?  That was...  Certainly something!

IC Hots

• Petronius, Arbiter of Elegance and Rafael De Corazon, Founder of the Toreador LIKED MY DRESS!
• Surprising the Seneschal Anne Boweseley by already knowing Mithras
• Mithras being genuinely pleased with my gift
• Christine's excitement over my gift
• Petronius explaining photography to me
• Dancing twice with Francis
• Making up with Dorian
• Dancing with Villon, Prince of France!
• Villon liked my dress!
• All the admiring glances at the dress
• Mithras dancing with me (admittedly, only briefly and only because we changed partners, but hey, he still danced with me!)
• Singing in the competition and getting a participants medal and a trivial boon
• Dancing the Rosa Waltz with Reggie, despite everything
• Taking a turn about the floor with Violetta, Justicar of Great Britain!
• Polka-ing with Harry at the end and hearing from Francis how good she thought my dancing was
• Getting multiple invitations to, ah, private dresss viewings shall we say? ;)
• So much plot falling into my lap!  (Gotta go report to Dyo)
• Being able to understand Mithras' Latin

IC Nots

• Reggie in trouble again - I really hope he survives this one, it's his worst scrape yet
• Violetta forgetting she'd promised me a dance
• Etrius being a shouty git
• Tatty of Southampton thinking she could just tell me to not dance with Reggie
• Vykos being there and liking my dress
• Not getting an answer from Mithras (though I kinda got the answer I needed from Dorian.  Would have preferred it from the horses mouth :P)
• The shouting between Vykos and Mithras

OOC HOTS

• All of the IC NOTS 
• Managing to sing in public and being ooc complimented
• All the NPCs remembering ooc that I do not like to be touched by strangers and being so kind and checking in with me or leaving me alone as required
• Delia and Bex and Emma and Chris really looking out for me and giving me space and help and hugs when needed
• Chris being sweet enough to do a dance he hates, just so I had a partner, to make me feel better after  very shaky moment
• Being somthing of a show off in the polka and doing half the length of the room as twirls just because I could
• Being able to surprise the ST's with flowers and drinks and finding out Bex hadn't realised why I wanted to know what non alcoholic booze she enjoyed!

OOC NOTS

• The sheer panic in so many people I didn't know being there
• Etrius' player being a git by having gotten totally of his head on booze and being an arse to people
• Having 3 panic attacks (thankfully hidden behind Chris and Jon so I don't think anyone realised)
• Feeling so frightened I thought I was going to be sick when stood in the middle of a hall full of people watching me sing
• Having to explain multiple times that no, really, I don't drink
• Constantly losing Reggie, frequently when I most needed to hide
• Not being able to breathe due to dancing like mad while in corestry and 6 layers of skirt
• being a useless model and going horrifyingly wooden whenever Jon brings out the camera (I'm fairly certain I'm the only person he asked to redo the photos of and in the end he gave up and just posed me like a manniquin...)
